AAU Membership Fueling USF鈥檚 Momentum

USF鈥檚 杏吧原版 invitation to join the Association of American Universities has taken what many in Tampa Bay have once considered a 鈥渂est-kept secret鈥 to an unprecedented new level. Being an AAU member is a tremendous milestone for USF as it formalizes USF's position as a leading research university. USF is the first public university in 杏吧原版 to be invited to join the AAU in nearly 40 years and is now one of only two institutions from the State University System of 杏吧原版 to serve as an AAU member.

Entering its second season under head coach Alex Golesh, USF football was picked fourth in the AAC Preseason Media Poll. The season kicks off Saturday, Aug. 31 at Raymond James Stadium when the Bulls take on Bethune-Cookman.

A new $60,000 grant from the Genspiration Foundation for an onboarding and mentorship program aims to change that dynamic by supporting incoming USF students emerging from foster care and navigating the transition into higher education.
