Our curriculum blends tradition with innovation, guiding you through the core processes of intaglio, relief, lithography, and silkscreen, while encouraging experimentation with alternative, photo-based, and digital methods.

From advanced black-and-white and color processes to photomechanical and computer-assisted applications, you鈥檒l learn to turn a single image into a compelling multiple that resonates with meaning and materiality.

As a student, you鈥檒l have the rare opportunity to collaborate with Marais Press, our on-campus professional printmaking editioning press. Here, you鈥檒l work side-by-side with acclaimed artists from around the world participating in the creation of finished editions and gaining real-world experience in collaborative fine art and commercial printmaking.

Visual Arts students are also required to complete the Foundation Courses as well as a Sophomore Review course. Plus general education credits in English, math, science, history, social sciences, and electives.
