Earning Honors credits is a key part of participating in the Honors Program—and it’s designed to fit seamlessly into your undergraduate experience.
Depending on how many credit hours a student has before they're admitted to the program, they are required to earn between four to six Honors Courses over the course of their undergraduate degree. However, there is no limit to the amount of Honors courses students can take! Some students love their Honors Courses so much that they choose to keep signing up for them after they've fulfilled the program's requirements.

How Honors Credits Work
Honors credits are not intended to add additional courses on top of a student's degree plan; most students take Honors versions of courses they are already required to take, complete Honors Contracts in regular versions of courses in their academic departments, or both.
Honors Courses and Honors Contracts both provide opportunities for intellectual exploration and a deeper understanding of the course material while earning you the credits you need to graduate from the Honors Program!
