University Honors Program Admissions
Together, we bring out the best in each other.
The University Honors Program brings our best and brightest students together through exclusive class offerings, seminars, social events, and residential communities. We believe that when given an opportunity to form a tight-knit community of supportive peers, mentors, and faculty—there is no limit to what you can achieve.
Benefits to joining the University Honors Program
Honors students benefit from access to our building, Judice-Rickels Hall, which is home to:
- Two student lounges:
- a lounge for playing games and other loud activities
- a quiet lounge for studying (and sometimes napping)
- A free concession stand stocked with requested snacks
- A computer lab with free printing (including color and poster printing)
- A dedicated staff to support your academic and personal growth
We also provide a variety of academic and social opportunities to help students flourish, including:
- Access to Honors Courses, Honors Seminar, and Honors Contracts to fulfill our students' curiosity and desire to develop their skills
- The opportunity to write a (completely optional) undergraduate thesis as part of the Honors Baccalaureate Degree
- Scholarships exclusively for Honors students
- A packed schedule of ongoing social and networking events to make our community even closer and stronger
Upon graduation, Honors students have their academic excellence recognized at our Cording Ceremony (along with a cord to wear during commencement) and acknowledgement of exemplary participation at the University level with an Honors emblem on their diploma.
